With National Drug Take Back Day approaching, the Amherst Police Department will be distributing safe disposal pouches at the police department located at 175 Amherst St, Amherst in addition to housing a drug drop-off box located at the station. Disposal pouches were donated by the Rx Abuse Leadership Initiative (RALI) of New Hampshire to help raise awareness of the importance of safe disposal practices and prevent substance misuse.
