Did you know that veterans are at higher risk of opioid addiction because they are more likely to experience an injury during their service? One in 15 struggles with a substance use disorder, which represents approximately 1.5 million veterans across the country.
The Rx Abuse Leadership Initiative works with many veteran organizations to help increase awareness of substance use disorders among veteran communities and connect them with resources.
To our veterans, thank you for your service. And to our partners, thank you for supporting those who have served with resources when they need them.
